Máy chủ Cisco UCS C240 M7 có thiết kế tiên tiến tích hợp 4 khe cắm PCIe 5.0 cung cấp tốc độ truyền dẫn dữ liệu nhanh lên tới 200Gb, cho phép card mở rộng giao tiếp trực tiếp với bộ xử lý chính của hệ thống. Điều này giúp tăng hiệu suất và khả năng mở rộng của hệ thống, cho phép cài đặt và sử dụng các card mở rộng để mở rộng chức năng và khả năng của máy chủ.

Máy chủ được nâng cấp lên 32 DIMM DDR5 8TB tốc độ 4800 MT/s so với thế hệ trước, linh hoạt mở rộng lưu trữ 28 ổ cứng SAS/SATA hoặc NVMe có thể thay thế nóng. Với khả năng mở rộng linh hoạt, nó cho phép người dùng tăng cường và thay đổi cấu hình hệ thống theo nhu cầu kinh doanh.
