Access to Switch

For small and micro enterprises, if there is no switch or router on the network, the chapter on cloud switch/router does not need to be concerned and is omitted.

Before doing configuration, terminal connection needs to be set up. Connect the console cable of the PC to the console interface of the device, select protocol as serial, baud rate as 9600, as shown below:

Then enter user mode, input the command enable to enter privilege mode, input the command configure terminal to enter global configuration mode, input interface gigabitethernet 0/1 to enter interface configuration mode, show as below:
